Author Application

At Lincoln Fiction Book Festival 2027, we're bringing together authors and readers who share a love of great stories.

We're inviting fiction authors from all publishing backgrounds to apply for a place at our first ever festival. Whether you're independently published, represented by a publisher, or somewhere in between, this is your chance to meet new readers, sell and sign books, and become part of an exciting celebration of fiction.

We can't wait to learn more about you, your books, and the worlds you've created.

Please note: Lincoln Fiction Book Festival is an 18+ event celebrating fiction written for adult readers. Consequently, we are unable to accept applications from authors whose published works are primarily intended for children or younger audiences.

If you are a vendor, please refer to the Vendor Application form.

Chapter & Verse Lincoln reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, or revoke any vendor or author stall allocation at any time where it is deemed reasonable and necessary to do so. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, breaches of Lincoln Fiction Book Festival's terms and conditions, conduct that may negatively impact the festival, safety concerns, inaccurate or misleading information provided in an application, or circumstances beyond the festival's reasonable control.

Where a stall allocation is withdrawn by the festival for reasons other than a breach of these terms by the vendor or author, a full refund of any stall fees paid will be issued.
